Final ARRA Reporting Requirments Released

•July 2, 2009 • Leave a Comment

On June 22, OMB released the final reporting requirements for Recovery Act funds. It establishes a set of data elements that are common to all ARRA funds. In addition to standard program reporting requirements, all recipients must report the common elements.

The challenge will be to collect data that crosses organizational structures from fiscal, to procurement, to program outcomes such as jobs retained and created.  Departments that are prime recipients will report directly to the Federal site www.federalreporting.gov. Meanwhile, we need to develop and deploy a process to collect all this reporting centrally so that we can publish it on a public facing website.

The Feds have provided three methods to collect and report the data. Check out the guidance: New Reporting Rules.
